Quadrilateral Formulas

Quadrilaterals are the four-sided polygons. By this, it means that the no. of sides, vertices and angles they have is four each. In Quadrilaterals, the internal angles total up to 3600 There are 7 types of different Quadrilateral.

Quadrilateral Formulas for different quadrilateral types.

Quadrilateral Type Quadrilateral Formula
Square = p×p, p is side.
Rectangle  = l×b
Rhombus =

Solved Examples of Formulas of Quadrilateral

Q: The area of a parallelogram is 36 and the height is 6. Find the base.

Sol: Given, area=36, and h=6

To find: base b

Formula: b×h

Area of parallelogram=b×h

36 =b(6)

b=36 / 6 = 6
