If there are $a$ temples, then the man outs $a$ flowers in each temple, as per the given statement.
So, total amount of flowers put at temples $a \times a = 125 \times 20$
$=> a = \sqrt{125 \times 20} = \sqrt{5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 5 \times 4} = \sqrt{5^{4} \times 2^{2}} = 5^{2} \times 2 = 25 \times 2 = 50$
