Initial velocity, u=0 ms1
Time taken to reach ground, t=1 s
Acceleration due to gravity, g=10 ms2
Note- Downward direction is taken as positive

Let height of building be H
Using equation of motion,
s=ut+12at2
H=0×1+12×10×12​​
H=5 m

Let average speed of toy be va
From definition of average speed,
va=Total distance travelledTotal time taken
va=51=5 ms1
