Molality of a solution is defined as the number of moles of solute dissolved per kg of solvent.

C6H12O6=10% by weight.

Thus in 100 g solution mass of glucose = 10 g and of water =90 g

Number of moles of glucose =massmolar mass

n=10180=118mol

Mass of solvent = 90 g= 0.09 kg

Molality, m=(118)0.09

m=10018×9=0.617 molal0.6 molal
