Time taken by stone to reach the bottom of the well is given by using s=ut+12at2
Where, s=45 m and u=0
t=2sg=9010=3.0 s
So time taken by sound to travel 45 m is (3.1253) s=0.125 s
velocity of sound in air, vair=distancetime
=45.125
vair=360 m/s
