Solution

The correct option is D 7.5 cm

Given that,

Distance u=10cm

Height h=2.5cm

Radius of curvature R=30cm

We know that,

f=R2

f=302

f=15cm

Now, using mirror’s formula

1f=1v+1u

115=1v110

1v=115+110

v=30cm

Now, the magnification is

m=vu

m=3010

m=3

We know that,

m=hh

3=h2.5

h=7.5cm

Hence, the size of the image is 7.5 cm
