Given:
v=10 m/s; θ=37


Components of the velocity of object along x and y axis are

VOx=10cos37=10×45 =8^i m/s

VOy = 10sin37=10×35=6^j m/s

As we know that velocity of image along xaxis is,

VIx = VOx=8^i m/s, and

Velocity of image along yaxis is,

VIy=VOy=6^j m/s

Now, the total velocity of image,

VI=VIx^i+VOy^j=8^i+6^j m/s

Hence, option (a) is correct answer.
