Can plants sense humans?

2. Plants lack complex sensory capabilities and so if they can sense humans or not is debatable.
3. Plants have well-adapted sensory responses against their environment and external stimuli.
4. They can respond to gravity (gravitropism), light (phototropism), etc.
5. Plants also react to external stimuli like physical touch in Mimosa pudica.
