Solution

Based on transparency-

> When alum is mixed in water, a true solution is formed which is totally TRANSPARENT and clear.

> When soil is mixed in water, a suspension is formed which is NOT CLEAR and dirty.

>When milk is mixed in water , a colloidal solution is formed, which is either translucent or opaque.

Based on stability-:

> Alum and water solution is stable , as true solutions are stable.

> Soil and water solution is un-stable, as suspensions are not stable. The particle's settle down when left un-disturbed for some time.

> Milk and water solution is un-stable, as particles settle down if kept un-disturbed for a very long time otherwise they don't settle down.
