(i) Tap root and fibrous root​

Tap Root	Fibrous Root
A thick main root is present (primary root)which bears many side branches (secondary roots).	A cluster of roots of the same thickness arise from the base of the stem.
Found in dicot plants like gram and pea.	Found in monocot plants like maize and grass.
