The correct option is C 16
Let the smallest even number = x
So, other two consecutive even numbers are x + 2 and x + 4.
x + (x + 2) + (x + 4) = 42
3x + 6 = 42
3x = 36
x = 12
So, three consecutive even numbers are 12, 14, and 16.
Hence, the largest even number is 16.
