2. These are membrane-bound vesicular structures formed by the process of packaging in the Golgi apparatus.
3. Plant cells have hundreds of Golgi bodies compared to animal cells, which only have one.
4. Golgi bodies generate polysaccharide molecules, which are used to make the cell wall, in addition to their typical functions.
5. Plant cells have a lot of Golgi bodies because they don't have a cell wall.
