Examples of the elements of group 18 are Helium (He), Neon (Ne), Argon (Ar), Krypton (Kr) and Xenon (Xe)
Valency is the combining capacity of an atom of the element.
As noble gases have fully filled outermost shell, they do not have capacity to combine with others and exhibit zero valency.
