Please tell me how to find whether the given oxide is acidic or basic?

If it is a metallic oxide (example Na2O), then it is basic. If it is a non- metallic oxide (example N2O3, SO3) then it is acid. However,Inchemistry, anamphotericcompound is a molecule or ion that can react both as anacidas well as abase.Many metals (such ascopper,zinc,tin,lead,aluminum, andberyllium) form amphoteric oxides or hydroxides. Amphoterism depends on theoxidation statesof the oxide. Al2O3is an example of an amphoteric oxide.
