Solution

(i) False
(ii) False
(iii) False
(iv) True
(v) True

(i) Good qualtiy seeds is not the only criterion for getting a high yield. Other factors such as proper irrigation, removal of weeds and pests, and efficient harvesting also contribute to a high yield.
(ii) Growing different crops in different seasons (crop roatation) give the soil time to recuperate from nutrient deficiency and hence helps to maintain the nutrient balance of the soil.
(iii) Some crops are planted as seedlings. E.g. paddy.
(iv) The leguminous plants like pea, pulses have Rhizobium bacteria at the root nodules which help in the fixation of atmospheric nitrogen.
(v) Freshly harvested grains must be dried well before storing as it avoids spoilage due to microbial action. The microbes grow in a moist environment. Hence moisture elimination via drying is necessary before storing the grains.
