1. Scope of more plant growth and milder climates in some frozen regions of the earth such as Siberia, Antarctic, and the Arctic.
2. Fewer injuries or decreased death rate as a result of arctic conditions.
3. The next ice age can be possibly prevented.
4. Longer growing seasons can correspond to increased agricultural production in a few areas.
5. Formerly untapped gas and oil reserves can be made available.
