The above diagram is an example of infinite capacitor network.
Now assuming capacitance of above network across C and D is C(=CCD). So network will become

Now the equivalent capacitance of above diagram is given by

Ceq=1+2×C2+C=2+3C2+C ......(1)

and this is an infinite capacitor network, so

CAB=Ceq=C

So, eq. (1) becomes

C=2+3C2+C

C2+2C=3C+2

C2C2=0

(C+1)(C2)=0

Since, capacitance will be positive

C=2 μF

Hence, option (a) is correct.
