The correct option is B 0.16 A
Given,
Molar conductivity=200 S cm3 mol1
Molar concentration=0.04 M
Λm=k×1000M
Where, Λm = Molar conductivity
k = specific conductance
M = Molar concentration of electrolyte
k=Λm×M1000
k=200×0.041000
k=8×103 S
We know,
k=C×cell constant ...(1)
cell constant=lA
cell constant=0.5 cm2 cm2
cell constant=0.25 cm1
From equation (1)
C=kcell constant
C=8×1030.25
C=0.032 S cm
According to Ohm's law,
I=VR
I=V×C (1R=C)
I=5×0.032=0.16 A
