We have often seen that an infant child after feeding milk vomits out something like curd. Why does this happen?

We have seen that sometimes an infant vomits out something like curd after feeding of milk. This is because of inadequate burping during milk feeding. At this time, the baby takes in equal amount of air which needs to get removed from the stomach before putting him/her off to bed in a lie down position. When the baby after milk feeding is put in this position, he/she vomits out the some amount of fermented milk from its stomach which looks like curd when out from the body.
