Solution
A spherical mirror is a curved surface mirror that is a part of a hollow sphere.
Spherical mirrors are of two types:
Concave mirror
Convex mirror
Properties:
A concave mirror is a spherical mirror whose reflecting surface is curved inwards towards the source of light. Concave mirrors can produce both real and virtual images. Images can be erect or inverted, they can be behind the mirror or in front of the mirror; they can also be enlarged, reduced, or the same size as the object.
A convex mirror is a spherical mirror whose reflecting surface is curved outwards. Convex mirrors produce only virtual diminished images.
