What are the factors that affect transpiration?

Transpiration:- Loss of water through the aerial part of the plant is called transpiration.

Factors affecting transpiration:-

Temperature - If the temperature is increased, the rate of transpiration will increase and vice versa.

Humidity - If the leaf is surrounded by moist air (due to an increase in humidity), the rate of transpiration decreases.

Wind Speed - The moving wind removes humidity. This results in an increase in the rate of transpiration.

Light Intensity (sunlight intensity) - If light intensity increases, the rate of transpiration will increase and vice versa.
