What are the two types of agranulocytes of white blood cells?

Agranulocytes:

1. These are one type of white blood cell that contain no distinct granules in the cytoplasm.
2. They originate from lymph nodes, and their nucleus is not lobed.
3. There are two types of agranulocytes; lymphocytes and monocytes.

Lymphocytes:

1. These are the smallest white blood cells and constitute 20 - 30% of the blood.
2. They are also called B-cells and can produce antibodies that destroy pathogens.

Monocytes:

1. They are the largest white blood cells and constitute 1 - 4% of the blood.
2. They are responsible for the destruction of dead cells and cell fragments.
