The reactivity series of metals, also known as the activity series, refers to the arrangement of metals in the descending order of their reactivities.
There, Cu does not react with dilute sulphuric acid. So when dilute sulphuric acid reacts with a copper plate, no reaction will take place.

Less reactive metals do not react with dilute sulfuric acid and so copper is less reactive hence does not reacts with dilute sulfuric acid
