Neutralization reaction is double replacement reactions. In this acid and base quantitatively react with each other. In this reaction there is a formation of salt and water as a product.
Example,
HCl+NaOHNaCl+H2O

In this reaction when hydrochloric acid react with sodium hydroxide, sodium chloride is formed as a product which is a salt.
