These organisms belong to the group of microorganisms, as they are not visible to the human eye.
Often causing infection, they are considered a non-living entities.
They become a living entities once they invade any organism.
Polyhedral virus:
Polyhedral viruses have nucleic acid encased in a polyhedral (many-sided) shell or capsid, which is commonly shaped like an icosahedron.
Adenoviruses is one example of this.
Adenoviruses are non-enveloped viruses having a double-stranded DNA genome surrounded by an icosahedral nucleocapsid.
