  2. Often causing infection, they are considered a non-living entities.
  3. They become a living entities once they invade any organism.

Polyhedral virus:

  1. Polyhedral viruses have nucleic acid encased in a polyhedral (many-sided) shell or capsid, which is commonly shaped like an icosahedron.
  2. Adenoviruses is one example of this.
  3. Adenoviruses are non-enveloped viruses having a double-stranded DNA genome surrounded by an icosahedral nucleocapsid.
