Given that,
at t=3 s
θ1=10 rotations
=20 π rad
Using equations of motion,
θ1=12αt2 [As fan starts from rest]
20π=9α2
α=40π9 rad/s2
For total of 6 secs, equation of motion is
θ1+θ2=12αt2
20π+θ2=12×40π9×36
θ2=60π
θ2=30(2π)=30 rotations
Hence, option (C) is correct.
