RRB NTPC 2020 latest update–  Railway Board has not released the RRB NTPC 2020 exam Notification. Candidates will be notified of the same once the information is out.

RRB NTPC Exam 2019 latest update- 

  1. The Admit Card for the 7th phase of the Railway NTPC 2019 examination in released on the official website. Applicants can download the region-wise admit card for the Non-Technical and popular Category exam on the RRB NTPC Admit Card page linked here. 
  2. The Railway Board has released the online exam date for Non Technical Popular Category Posts (NTPC) in 7th Phase on official website of RRB. The board is conducting the online exam RRB NTPC on 23, 24, 26 and 31 July 2021 under 7th Phase. RRB NTPC 2019-20 CBT exams were put on hold due to the prevailing situation of COVID 19 in the country.
  3. The RRB NTPC 2019-20 recruitment process commenced in December 2020 after the ease of restriction imposed for the first wave of COVID 19. The 6th phase exam of the first stage of RRB NTPC 2019 was conducted in April, 2021. The RRB NTPC Phase 6 Exam was conducted on April 1, 3, 5, 6, 7 and 8, 2021. The revised exam dates for the next phase will be announced by the board in due course.
  4. The new date RRB NTPC 2019 CBT I phase II is January 16th to January 30th 2021. Phase 1 of RRB NTPC CBT I is scheduled to be conducted from December 28th 2020 to January 13th 2021.
  5. On December 23rd 2020, the Railway Board has made available the call letter for RRB NTPC 2019 (CEN 01/2019) exam.
  6. The official RRB NTPC 2019 exam dates for 35208 vacancies is announced by the RRB CEO and Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav in an interview on 2nd December. Earlier all the exams by Railway board were expected to start by December 15th, he clarified that the examinations will start from December 28th 2020.

The Railway board has not made any announcement regarding the release of the RRB NTPC 2021 exam notification and RRB NTPC 2020 exam notification.

Currently, the recruitment process of RRB NTPC 2019 exam is going on. The RRB has announced a total 35277 vacancies for the Non-Technical Popular Categories as per the latest notification released on February 28th, 2019. The applications for RRB NTPC exam began on March 1st, 2019. Candidates can visit the official RRB website (http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/) to register for the exam.

RRB NTPC 2020-21 Eligibility

The candidates willing to write the RRB NTPC exam must keep the following eligibility criteria in mind in order to appear for the exam:

  1. Nationality / Citizenship: Candidates must be nationals of India, Nepal, Bhutan.

RRB NTPC 2020-21 Exam Pattern

The RRB NTPC Exam 2020-21 Pattern consists of the following stages:

  1. CBT Stage – 1
  2. CBT Stage – 2
  3. Skill / Aptitude Test
  4. Document Verification
  5. Medical Examination

*Note: The Skill Test is applicable for those candidates who apply for the post of Junior Accountant Assistant, Senior Clerk cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper, while the aptitude test is for those who have applied for the post of Traffic Assistant and Assistant Station Master.

RRB NTPC Exam Syllabus

The sections for both the stages of the RRB NTPC CBT Exam are the same. They are as follows:

  1. Mathematics
  2. General Awareness
  3. General Intelligence and Logical Reasoning

The only difference is the number of questions asked in each stage. It is 100 questions in CBT Stage – 1 while it is 120 questions in CBT Stage – 2. Both stages have a duration of 90 minutes each.

RRB NTPC 2021 – 2020 Admit Card

Since the notification for RRB NTPC 2021 and RR NTPC 2020 exam is not out officially, the dates for the release of the admit card are not known.  However the steps given below will assist the aspiring candidates in future –

Steps to download RRB NTPC Admit Card

  1. Visit the RRB website of the region you have applied for (http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/).
  2. Enter your login credentials. You can choose to enter it in either English or Hindi.
  3. Enter the Registration Number that you have received at the time of application.
  4. You will then be redirected to a page where you should click on the option – “Download Admit Card”
  5. Enter your date of birth in the format prescribed or your password as received by you at the time of application
  6. Once submitted, your RRB NTPC Admit Card will be displayed on the screen. Make sure to download your Call Letter well in advance to avoid any technical glitches
  7. You can download your RRB NTPC Admit Card and take a printout. Try to keep a few more copies for future use.
