SSC GD – What is SSC GD?

The full form of GD is the General Duty Exam.

Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the SSC General Duty (GD) exam every year to recruit eligible candidates for the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), National Investigation Agency (NIA), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

The recruitment for these posts is done as per the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) mutually agreed by the SSC and Ministry of Home Affairs.

The recruitment notification for SSC GD 2021 is expected to be out by March 2021.

SSC Stenographer – What is SSC Stenographer?

SSC Stenographer is an examination to recruit candidates for Stenographer Grade C (non-gazetted post) and Grade D posts in various departments, ministries and organisations of the Government of India. It is an All India level examination conducted by SSC annually.

The SSC has not released the notification for 2020-21 exam yet. The ongoing recruitment is for 2019 and the SSC Stenographer vacancy for the year 2019 is expected to be released soon.
