1) Amount of carbon dioxide:

Description
According to 1st question -

1 mole of carbon is burnt in air (dioxygen) to produced 1 mole of carbon dioxide. In this reaction carbon is in limited quantity so, it is limiting reagent

We know, 𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑒 =MassMolar Mass

𝑆𝑜 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑎𝑚𝑜𝑢𝑛𝑡 𝑜𝑓 CO2 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑑𝑢𝑐𝑒𝑑=44×1=44 g

2) Amount of carbon dioxide:

Description

According to 2nd question:

1 mole of carbon is burnt in 16 g of dioxygen means 0.5 mole of dioxygen

Number of mole=MassMolar mass

So, have dioxygen is a limiting reagent

So,0.5 mole of O2 react with 0.5 mole of CO2

So the amount of CO2 produced =no.of mole × Molar mass=0.5×44=22 g

3) Amount of carbon dioxide:

Description.

According to 3rd question :

2 moles of carbon are burnt in 16 g of dioxygen means 0.5 mole of dioxygen.

𝑁𝑢𝑚𝑏𝑒𝑟 𝑜𝑓 𝑚𝑜𝑙𝑒=MassMolar Mass

Here, dioxygen is limiting reagent

So, the amount of CO2 produced by 0.5 mole of O2=0.5×44=22 g

Final answer:

(i) Amount of carbon dioxide is 44 g

(ii) Amount of carbon dioxide is 22 g

(iii) Amount of carbon dioxide is 22 g
