Total collection at the end of the day = ₹(a2 + 3ab + 2b2)
Amount that the barber charges for each hair cut = ₹(a + b)
Number of hair cuts given by him = (a2 + 3ab + 2b2) ÷ (a + b)
= (a + b)(a + 2b) ÷ (a + b)
= (a + 2b)
