Volume of wood $= 1.35 m^{3}$

Length of beam =5 m

Thicknes =36 cm $= \frac{36}{100} m .$

$∴$ Width $= \frac{V o l u m e}{l e n g t h \times t h i c k n e s s}$

$= \frac{1.35 \times 100}{5 \times 36} = \frac{135 \times 100}{100 \times 5 \times 36}$

$= \frac{3}{4} m = 0.75 m$

=75 cm
