Step 1: Find acceleration

Formula used: →a=→Fm

Given,

Mass=5kg

→F=(−3→i+4→j)N

→u=(6→i−12→j)

The acceleration of the body is

→a=→Fm=(−3→i+4→j)N5kg=(−35→i+45→j)ms2…(i)

Step 2: Find velocity at time t.

Formula used:vx=ux+axt

Velocity of the body along x−axis at any time t is

vx=ux+axt=6−35t ax from equation (i)

As the body will have a velocity along the y−axis, therefore its velocity along x−axis will be zero.
