Solution

In a pea plant, violet flower with genotype VV is crossed with pea plant having white flowers vv. The V allele is dominant to v allele. The gametes formed will be V and v. So after their fertilization in the F1 generation, Vv will be formed. V (violet) being dominant to v (white), so in heterozygous condition, Violet will be the phenotype.
