Question
A piece of brass of volume $30~cm^3$ has a mass of $252~g.$ Fin the density of brass in $gcm^{-3}$.
Open in App
Solution
Given,
Volume of brass, $V= 30~cm^3$
And mass of brass, $m = 252~g$
Density in $gcm^{-3}$,
Using formula of density
$Density (\rho) = \dfrac{mass(m)}{Volume (V)}$
$Density (\rho) = \dfrac{252~g}{30~cm^3}= 8.4~gcm^{-3}$
