The correct option is B 9 cm/s away from the mirror
For the given concave mirror,
u=20 cm, f=12 cm

Using mirror formula,
1v120=112
1v=130
v=30 cm

So, m=vu=(30)20=32

Also, velocity of the image when the object is moving along the principal axis,
vi=m2vo

vi=(32)2×4=9 cm/s
Here the ve sign indicates that the image is moving in the direction opposite to incident ray hence the velocity of the image will be 9 cm/s away from the mirror.
