The correct option is C 54 ms1
Let v be the velocity of the projectile after 5 sec.
Even after 5 seconds, the horizontal velocity vx will be 20 ms1 as there is no acceleration along horizontal direction.
The vertical velocity vy is given by
vy=uy+gt
(Take downward direction as positive)
uy=0 ( there is no initial velocity in the vertical direction)
vy=0+10×5=50 ms1
So, speed after 5 sec
v=v2x+v2y=202+50254 ms1
