The correct option is A 20 years and 5 years, respectively
Given that,
A1=λ1N1=5 μCi

A2=λ2N2=10 μCi

From given data, we get

λ2N2=2λ1N1

Also, given that, N1=2N2

λ2N2=2λ1(2N2)

λ2λ1=4

As, we know, λ1T1/2

If T1 and T2 represents the half life of the sample, S1 and S2

T1T2=4
