Given that:

IOH=10o

The mirror is inclined at an angle α

From the figure above;

Incident angle i=ION=(90α)+10

Therefore,

Reflected angle, r=RON=(90α+10)

Thus,

HOR=i+r10

If the reflected ray become vertical,

HOR=90=i+r10

90=100α+100α10

90=1902α

α=50o


Therefore, for the reflected ray to be vertical, the mirror should be inclined at an angle of 50o.
