When plate starts to rotate about point A, then torque. τ=mgl2
Iα=mgl2
Here l=0.2 m and b=0.15 m
Distance of COM from axis of rotation is
d2=l24+b24=0.06254
Moment of inertia
=m12(l2+b2)+md2
=2012(0.2)2+(0.15)2+20(0.06254)
=53[0.0625]+5[0.0625]
=0.1041+0.3125=0.416 kg m2
now Iα=mgl2α=mgl2I
α=20×10×0.22×0.41648 rad/s2
so, α8=488=6
