Formula used: dQdt=kΔθ, Q=dQdt×t, Q=CΔθ

Given: dQdt=10W of electric heater,Δθ=30C,
After heater is switched off its takes 1 min from 35.1C to 34.9C.

At 50C,
dQdt=k(5020)
10=k(5020)
k=13

At an average temperature of 35C,
dQdt=13(3520)=5 J/s

Heat lost in 1 minute =dQdt×60=300J

Fall in temparature is 0.2C=Δθ
