A tank is full of 450 L of water. How much water will be filled in 30 tanks? If 18 buckets can be filled with one tank of water, how many buckets in all can be filled with the water in 30 tanks? [3 marks]

Water in one tank
= 450 L
So water in 30 such tanks will be
= $30 \times 450$
= 13500 L [1 mark]
Number of buckets filled using 1 tank
= 18
Number of buckets that can be filled by 30 tanks
= $18 \times 30$
= 540 [2 marks]
