The correct option is B

1.14 g/cm3


Mass of empty density bottle = 22 g
Mass of empty density bottle and water = 50 g
Mass of empty density bottle and brine solution = 54 g
Mass of water in density bottle = 50 g – 22 g = 28 g
Mass of brine solution in density bottle = 54 g – 22 g = 32 g
Therefore, relative density of brine solution
=Mass of brine solutionMass of water=32g28g=1.14
Hence, density of brine solution = relative density of brine solution × density of water = 1.14×1g/cm3=1.14g/cm3.
