The correct option is C |m|=2; Nature :- virtual, erect & enlarged
Given,
For a concave mirror,

R=40 cm; u=10 cm

Using mirror formula,

1v=1f1u and f=R2

and substituting the given data we get,

1v=2R1u=2(40)1(10)=120+110

1v=10+20200=10200=120

v=+20 cm



Image is formed behind the mirror, so image formed is virtual in nature.

Magnification(m) from a concave mirror,

m=vu=2010=+2

Since, the magnification is positive, image is erect and enlarged.

Image is formed at v=20 cm is virtual , erect and enlarged.

Thus, option (c) is the correct answer.
