Can a person with down syndrome look normal?

Down syndrome

1. Down syndrome is also referred to as Trisomy 21
2. There is a presence of an extra copy of chromosome 21 in this syndrome.
3. This extra copy changes how the baby's body and brain develop.
4. It can cause both mental and physical challenges for the baby.
5. Some of the children with Mosaic Down syndrome that we know do not actually look as if they have Down syndrome.
6. Thus, a person with down syndrome may look normal.
