Can endometrial biopsy be done during menstruation?

1. Endometrial biopsy is the diagnosis process in which a small piece of tissue is removed or taken out from the endometrium.
2. This tissue helps in examining and finding any change due to abnormal tissues or variations in the hormonal levels.
3. It checks for uterine conditions like infections such as endometritis and endometrial cancer.
4. It is done without the use of anaesthesia.
5. An endometrial biopsy can be done during the menstrual cycle but it is better to do it before or after menstruation.
