(a) AIDS: Acquired immunodeficiency syndrome is a chronic, practically a serious, and infectious disease caused by the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV).
(b) Tuberculosis: Tuberculosis (TB) is a serious infection that primarily targets the lungs. The bacteria that cause tuberculosis are transmitted from person to person through tiny droplets that are released into the air by coughing and sneezing and is an infectious disease.
(c) Cholera: Cholera is a bacterial disease that is usually effect transmitted through contaminated water. Cholera causes severe diarrhea and dehydration, and it is considered an infectious disease.
(d) High blood pressure: High blood pressure is a common situation in which the long-term force of blood against the arterial wall is high enough that it ultimately causes health problems such as heart disease, and it is a non-infectious disease.
(e) Heart disease: Heart disease is a collective disease of the heart that includes blood clots, and narrowed blood vessels. It is considered a non-infectious disease as it is not transmitted from one person to another.
(f) Pneumonia: Pneumonia is a bacteria that inflames the air sacs of one or both lungs. The fluid-filled air sacs cause difficulty in breathing.
