In urban areas, the work usually encourages a sedentary lifestyle.
Pollution levels
Rural areas the industrialisation and population density is less. Therefore, pollution levels are less.
In urban areas, the pollution levels are high due to high population density and industrialisation.
Effect of lifestyle on health
People living in the urban areas are more prone to allergies (due to increased level of pollution) and lifestyle diseases (diabetes, hypertension) whereas people of the rural area are prone to water borne diseases due to lack of proper sanitary conditions.
