Define e-reservation

E – reservation also known as electronic reservation refers to making the appointments online, by using the internet. A person can only check the availability of seats in a bus, ferry or aircraft by using E- reservation. An e-ticket (electronic ticket) is a paperless electronic document used for ticketing passengers, For example: If a person is travelling through flight then he may be able to apply for e ticket which is provided by a confirmation number along with the flight number(s), date(s), departure location(s), and destination location(s).
