Epidermis- It is the outer covering of the body, of the skin. The skin has layers; epidermis, dermis etc. And epidermis further has four or five layers depending on its location. If we’re talking about the palm, it has 5 layers. And the epithelium covering it is stratified squamous keratinized epithelium.
