  • Subclass Temnospondyli - large-headed Paleozoic and Mesozoic amphibians
  • Subclass Lissamphibia - modern amphibians
• Class Sauropsida - reptiles (includes birds)
  • Subclass Diapsida - diapsids, including crocodiles, dinosaurs (includes birds), lizards, snakes and turtles
• Class Synapsida - mammals and their ancestors
  • Subclass Prototheria - monotremes
  • Subclass Allotheria - multituberculates
  • Subclass Theria - live bearing mammals
